The need
Finding and reviewing existing documents took extra work.
Templates, document copies, and exact-word searches made it difficult to find a useful starting point and identify the current version. The firm needed shared document storage, search, and version history.
What I built
Reuse documents with their history intact.
Depot brings templates, document versions, sharing, and permissions into one application. Documents can be reused while preserving their history.
Search can find an exact phrase or related material described in different words. Categories help organize new files, with optional AI sorting available alongside the document rules.
Depot / Document review
Store, organize, and search
Document history, permissions, and related material
Review proposed changes
Compare edits with clauses and previous work

Local and connected AI features are optional and depend on the application’s configuration.
Implementation
How I approached the work.
Attorney review
For an attorney reviewing edits, Depot can summarize tracked changes and bring relevant clauses and previous work into the review. The attorney remains responsible for deciding which changes to accept.
Local and connected services
Depot supports both an in-office model and connected AI services. Some reading, sorting, and review features send document content to those services when selected. I treat those choices as part of how the application is configured, alongside storage and access.
