The need

Case updates were spread across portal accounts.

Checking the progress of served legal documents meant searching a separate portal. With cases spread across several accounts, finding the right update could require more than one login and search. The firm needed a shared view that kept each case connected to the account it came from.

What I built

Search case details across connected accounts.

Willow gathers case details, service jobs, comments, attachments, and screenshots from the firm’s connected process-server accounts. I brought them into one place so the team can search across accounts.

Search handles both exact case numbers and close matches. Staff can open the details and supporting screenshots together, with the source account recorded alongside the case.

  • Supporting filesAttachments & screenshots

Attachments use the source account. Screenshot retention follows the firm’s settings.

Implementation

How I approached the work.

Source-account access

Source accounts remain associated with each case. An attachment is retrieved through the account that found it, and scheduled updates use a measured pace when connecting to the portal.

Screenshot retention

Older screenshots are removed according to the firm’s retention settings. The team gets a useful working view of its cases with a way to manage the records that view creates.
